It’s time to say goodbye.
Today Athletic showed its thanks to Aitor Ocio, Igor Gabilondo, and Koikili Lertxundi for their service to the club. All three’s contracts expire on the 30th of next month.
- Aitor Ocio (who is also retiring from the sport) has been with us for 7 seasons total, and played 117 games wearing the rojiblanco.
- Igor Gabilondo, who has been with us for 6 seasons, played 174 games wearing the rojiblanco.
- Koikili Lertxundi, has been with us for 5 seasons, and played 98 games in the rojiblanco.
We wish to thank the three of them for their service to the club and wish them all the best in whatever the future may bring them!
